• A PIT Morning Meetings: The store officially hosts themed morning meets in its lot, often dedicating the space to specific brands or models like Toyota GR vehicles, Nissan Z-cars, or European imports. You will see incredibly clean, highly tuned builds matching the theme of the day, with owners passionately discussing their setups over a morning coffee.

• Nighttime JDM Convoys: After dark, the parking lot transforms into an unofficial rendezvous point. It is a frequent pit stop for JDM car clubs and touring groups before they hit the Wangan Expressway or head out to Daikoku PA, offering a great chance to see iconic Supras, Evos, and Skyline GT-Rs glowing under the Tokyo night sky.

• The Upstairs Armory: Heading up to the second floor reveals the heavy-hitting tuning department. This isn't just a place for wiper blades and air fresheners; it is a comprehensively stocked showroom of high-end performance hardware. Racks of gleaming aftermarket exhausts line the aisles, accompanied by a massive selection of suspension components ranging from lowering springs to full coilover kits. You can physically test out rows of genuine Recaro and Bride bucket seats to check your driving position, or get your hands on premium aftermarket steering wheels from Momo and Nardi. Whether you are comparing dampening setups for a GR86 track car, sourcing a fresh steering wheel for a Skyline, or hunting down the perfect suspension components for an EK9 street build, this floor has the hardware ready to go in boxes.

• The Tsutaya Bookstore Below: Step downstairs, and the scent of tires and metal is replaced by the aroma of Starbucks coffee and print media. The Tsutaya bookstore section is an absolute goldmine for automotive literature. Rather than just a small magazine rack, you will find sweeping shelves dedicated exclusively to global car culture. It carries everything from the latest monthly issues of Option, Rev Speed, and Stance, to highly specific model-history "mooks" (magazine-books) detailing the exact lineage, factory specs, and tuning philosophies of iconic Japanese chassis. It’s the perfect spot to grab a coffee, sink into a chair, and flip through hyper-specific tuning guides or retro Honda catalogs after checking out the parts upstairs.

The MF Ghost x Blitz booth—officially known as the "MF Ghost Corner"—at A-PIT Super Autobacs Click to open side panel for more information is a unique collaboration that brings the anime's tuning culture directly into the real world. In the series, protagonist Kanata Rivington's home garage, "Spiral Zero," is actually based on the real-life Blitz headquarters, making this partnership incredibly authentic.

What to Expect at the Booth:

• The 1:1 Parts Menu: The main draw is the ability to purchase the exact aftermarket parts used to turn Kanata’s first-gen Toyota 86 into a giant-slayer. The display features Blitz’s signature performance hardware—such as ZZ-R coilovers, Nur-Spec exhausts, big brake kits, turbo kits, and aero body kits—alongside series-accurate components like Nardi Classic steering wheels, Enkei PF-05 wheels, and TRD sports seats.

• Immersive Atmosphere & Merch: The corner is designed for fans, featuring screens playing racing scenes from the anime while you browse. Beyond heavy tuning parts, the booth is stocked with exclusive MF Ghost apparel, collectibles, and accessories for those not looking to build a project car.

• Tuning Consultations: If you actually want to replicate Kanata's setup or apply the show's tuning philosophies to your own vehicle, staff are available at the booth for dedicated consultation services.

• Special Events & Display Cars: The area frequently serves as a hub for official MF Ghost promotional events. During season premieres, the store has hosted 1:1 real-world replica display cars (like the MF Ghost 86GT Replica) and held "Garage Talk" panels featuring Blitz tuning staff alongside the anime's voice cast and sound directors.

For me, my usual time to go to Autobacs is around 4-6PM, on any day of the week.  I would do my shopping first, then check out the cars in the parking garage, and try to leave by 7:00-7:30PM and head straight to Daikoku PA right after, to avoid getting there too late as it can be shut down by the local police (yes, I've encountered it once).

Every time I go to Japan, I would buy a GTR magazine from Autobacs Shinonome as a fixed routine.
