Wondering what JDM parts actually cost in Japan? I toured three Super Autobacs megastores, in Tokyo Bay (A PIT Autobacs Shinonome), Nagoya and Osaka, checking real yen prices on wheels, seats and tuning parts.

Tokyo Bay

We started at Super Autobacs Tokyo Bay, aka A PIT Autobacs Shinonome, browsing its inventory, specialty displays and JDM mods section.

Nagoya

In Nagoya we checked actual pricing on iconic wheels from Rays and Work, then browsed exhausts, tuning parts and accessories, plus bucket seat prices for authentic Recaro and Bride seats.

Osaka

In Osaka I demonstrated the Tein EDFC 5 system and checked out the Fuse Takaida store's specials.

Final Thoughts

If you're planning a parts run in Japan, this should give you a realistic idea of what to budget.

What part would you buy first on a trip to Super Autobacs? Let me know in the comments!
