Earning My Fuji Speedway License in the Rain

Updated: Oct 10
Earning the right to drive at Fuji Speedway is a bucket-list goal for many JDM enthusiasts. In this video I take you through getting my official FSW Driving License, in the Daikoku Legends DC2 Integra Type R, on a soaking wet track.
The Process
Before you can even touch the tarmac, drivers must pass a strict two-hour classroom orientation covering track safety, flag rules and circuit etiquette. I skipped the classroom footage and went straight to the main event: the practical exam.
Three Laps in the Wet
To finalize my certification, I had to complete three trial laps on the main FSW race course. The catch? A steady rain left the circuit completely wet and slick. Jump in the passenger seat and see what it takes to get licensed and drive this legendary track in the rain.
Final Thoughts
Rain or not, driving my own DC2 on Fuji Speedway is a moment I'll always remember.
Have you driven a track in the rain? How did it go? Let me know in the comments!
