FuelFest Japan 2026: Movie Cars, Drifting and Kansai Civics

FuelFest Japan took over Fuji Speedway on August 11th, and the energy was unreal. From Hollywood movie cars to hardcore Japanese street culture, it was one of the best automotive events of 2026.
Fast and the Furious Cars
The show floor had an incredible lineup of iconic cars from the Fast and the Furious franchise. Seeing these builds in person never gets old.
Pure Japanese Car Culture
For me, the real highlight was the Japanese scene:
Live synchronized drifting at the Fuji Speedway Drift Park
Meeting pro drifter Kisa Awano and getting her autograph
Spotting pro drifter Maaya Orido at the Alpharex booth
A scissor-door, super-slammed R35 GT-R at RPM Generation's booth
K's Factory's Kansai Civics
The K's Factory team brought an aggressive lineup of Kansai-style Honda Civics that captured that raw Kanjozoku street-racer vibe. If you love Honda builds, don't miss that section.
Final Thoughts
Between the movie cars, the drifting and the Civics, FuelFest Japan had something for everyone.
