For anyone obsessed with Honda tuning, visiting Spoon Type One in Tokyo is a bucket-list experience. I took a POV tour of the facility to see the craftsmanship that has made Spoon one of the most respected Honda tuners on the planet.

Out Front

Right outside, we were greeted by the iconic Spoon N-One RS, a perfect introduction to Spoon's take on lightweight Honda fun.

Inside the Workshop

Inside, the technicians were wrenching on a wide range of legendary chassis:

  • FD2 Civic Type R

  • FL5 Civic Type R

  • Dialed-in S2000s

  • The mid-engine Honda S660

Why It Matters to Me

With a Spoon exhaust and Spoon ECU on my own DC2, seeing where that engineering comes from made this visit extra special.

Final Thoughts

If you're a Honda fan in Tokyo, Spoon Type One belongs on your list. You can find it on my JDM Legends Map.

Which Spoon-built Honda would you take home? Let me know in the comments!
