Late Night in Ame-mura: Osaka's Rotary Street Scene

I took a late-night walk through America-mura (Ame-mura) in Osaka, where spontaneous street meets pop up around Triangle Park in the middle of the city's neon nightlife district.

What We Spotted

• A heavy rotary lineup with multiple RX-7 FD3S builds

• A classic FC3S

• Clean, street-styled GR86s

• A wide-body Mercedes-Benz CLS63 mixing with the local JDM crowd

Osaka's Youth Car Culture

Unlike an organized meet, these gatherings happen naturally at street level. It's a great look at Osaka's youth culture and how the local scene shows off its builds.

Final Thoughts

Osaka's street scene has a different energy from Tokyo's, and the rotary turnout was impressive.
